Use Type & Check when the question is already in your head. In about two seconds Nolemy returns the operational reality from Reddit, X, Hacker News, Trustpilot, and forums. Every quote links to its source.

Yes. The app is a free download and every published record on nolemy.com is public. A Pro tier inside the app covers heavier use.

Does Nolemy work on macOS?

How is Nolemy different from asking an AI chatbot?

A chatbot answers from a model's memory and tends to average everything into something agreeable. Nolemy runs a live search of community testimony and shows you the quotes themselves, linked to their sources, with the gap between what was promised and what people report. When the evidence is thin, it says so. You are never asked to trust a paragraph you cannot verify.

What if the data is wrong?

Every quote links to its source. You can verify everything yourself. If you find a fabricated quote, we’ll remove it and publish a correction within 24 hours. We’re only as good as our data integrity.

Isn’t this biased toward negativity?

It does not have opinions. If a report is negative, it’s because the public testimony is negative. What it has is a direction of attention: it leads with the friction, the broken promise, the warning buried three years deep in a thread, because that is the part a marketing budget worked hardest to hide. And when the testimony genuinely carries praise, the report carries it too, in the people’s own words.

Only unhappy people post online. Isn’t the record distorted from the start?

That was true in 2015, when the internet was a complaints desk. That desk is gone. The internet is now the room the whole world already lives in, and the instant one person stands up to accuse a company, the room answers back. This is why Nolemy does not read review pages and does not count stars: it reads the discourse, the back and forth, the place where a claim is challenged and has to survive the people who actually lived it.

What about something almost no one has written about?

Then that silence is the first thing worth knowing. A name the public has never tested is not a clean name. Nolemy says that plainly instead of dressing thin air as a verdict: it shows you the little that exists, marks exactly how little it is, and sets it against what is known of the surrounding ground. Quiet is not the same as safe, and we will never let one stand in for the other.

What stops someone gaming this with fake praise or planted complaints?

The same thing that makes a crowded room hard to lie to. Manufactured words do not survive a conversation. A real account arrives with a life attached: the date, the figure, the exact sentence an agent used. Nolemy is built to trust the specific and the lived, and to set aside the smooth. The harder a claim is to fake, the more weight it carries.

What about a company that was bad once and has genuinely fixed it?

Then the record should show the turn, and Nolemy is built to find it. Recent testimony rises. Old pain is kept, because it happened, but it is placed in time, not frozen into a permanent sentence. This cuts both ways: a name that was once loved and has quietly started to slip will show the slip, while the marketing still sells the old reputation.
